Nope it's nothing like LBP.

Wow that looks really cool.

I wonder how the controls work since you have two or three playable characters doing things at the same time.

Um, no it doesn't. Trine is a 2D/3D platformer with physics, there is no level creation or community aspect which is what LBP is all about.

The only thing they share is that they both are 2D/3D platformers. Thats like saying the gameplay of Halo is the same as Deus Ex.

Anyone try the demo?

Was watching Conan... installing it now. Don't expect screens though because I am very lazy.

Impressions so far: It don't work. At least not for me. Has crashed in the exact same spot every single time so far... the loading screen right before you get to play (at least I assume so).

Works for me. Here's some quick screenshots.

How do you like the controls?

The controls are pretty decent, for keyboard+mouse anyway. I find the gamepad controls to be more awkward, at least when controlling the thief(the archer) and wizard characters. The gameplay itself is pretty fun.

Good to know! I'm a K+M guy (dont care about gamepads anyway)

Works great here as well.

The gameplay isn't bad. The physics are neat, and the controls with the mouse seem pretty decent, though a little loose. The characters slide around and slip on things a lot, as if they're covered in grease, which is a bit hard to get used to. The level design doesn't have much variation... you'll just be swinging or jumping over obstacles most of the time.

The graphics are amazing though. This game made my graphics card fan SCREAM. I haven't heard it run that hard in quite a while. Probably because of all the shader effects. It also uses Physx so its possible that the GPU was tackling that as well.

If its released on Steam for cheap I might buy it.

I am so getting this... on PS3 though, for the better D-Pad.

This seems like it'd be pretty tough without a mouse since you have to aim and draw shapes.

Thanks for the link. Nice to see something different coming out for the PC.

Just tried the demo and I liked the game a lot, they've put much effort into creating the levels so that you have to use every character which in turn makes it a lot more fun. :) Has anyone figured out how to use the left click "attack" of the wizard?

Possibly... I just can't imagine playing it without a gamepad, for some reason. I probably just associate platforming with that kind of interface.
