Duke Nukem Forever is the long-awaited follow-up to 1997's Duke Nukem 3D. While details are slim, longtime Duke voice actor Jon St. John returns, as well as music composed by Jeremy and Julian Soule. We're still waiting for an official announcement, but 3DRealms' George Broussard revealed that it has reached a new milestone this week, with 71 more tasks to complete from the original 800-900.

So if it took them 13 years to do 800-900, then 71 more should only take a little over a year...

Right? :bleh:

Oh yeah, they need to start over. Gotta wonder where they are getting the money for such extremely long development time.

That's my guess, by the time they get to that last step DX11 will be available and their gonna want the engine to take advantage of it. :p

Funny no where does he say this milestone is in relation to DNF.

I follow him on twitter and this was his tweet:
Closing out a milestone this week. 71 more tasks to do and we started with probably 800-900. Been a good push. Next one starts Monday.

So I guess everyone speculates that he meant this milestone in regards to DNF. Glad all these high profile sites confirmed their so called news....
