Great the <scarsm>best</sarcasm> aspects of American culture get transfered first... An Iraqi Boy Band....who'd have thought *just shakes his head*
Ahhh, but check out the caption:
The five young Iraqi men who make up the boy band 'Unknown to No One' leap into the air in central Baghdad, on June 6, 2003. The band has attracted the attention of a British pop consultant and hopes to top the charts across the world with its single, 'Hey Girl'. (L-R) Diyar Diler, 21, a Kurdish Sunni Muslim, Hassan Ali al-Falluji, 21, a Shi'ite Arab, Nadeem Hamed, 20, a Shi'ite Arab, Art Haroutunian, 25, an Armenian Christian and Shant Garabedian, 24, an Armenian Christian.
Boy band or not, they seem to have the whole "melting pot" thing going on there as well (one of the better aspects of American culture). Good for them (even if it is another boy band).
Cheers,
JND

Maybe they'll say at their next concert "We're ashamed that president Hussein was from Tikrit". ;)
