View Full Version : ABIT nf7-s and barton 2500....help?

lo guys,i finally got my upgrade, so my specs are :
abit nf7-s, barton 2500, 2 x 512 ddr 333 twinmos, enermax 350W PSU, IBM deskstar 40Gb....gfx are still gf2 GTS (should get 9500 pro next week).

first thing....when i plug all in....it showed AMD 2500, but also said it's running @ 1100, so i looked in BIOS and saw it's 100x11, which i changed to 166x11, which is right speed for that one (i think).

it says my mobo is revision 2.0 and i specifically asked for it, but in manual only AMD CPUs are at speed grades that are not Barton's.

so what i am asking is....how can i be sure it's rev 2.0 and i need advice how to flash BIOS and install new one, cause i wanna this baby to work smoooth like silk :D :D

Once you see "Rev. 2" on your PCB you definetly have one :)

Yea they haven't really updated the manual since putting out the rev2, would be a waste of money anyways since a majority of the info is still fairly accurate.
