Ok, it's official. The NBA truly is fixed.

No penalty for Rondo for dragging Hinrich to the side of the court and then throwing him against the scorers table. No penalty for Rondo for throwing an elbow afterwards aimed at Hinrich.

Good for Rondo. I guess he'll have to stab someone in the face before the NBA gives him a technical, maybe kill a couple of players before he gets a suspension. Heck if he kills 3 guys, he might even automatically get into the Hall of Fame.

Way to seriously **** up Stu Jackson and David Stern.

Btw, this re-iterates my feeling that Cleveland will win. It seems pre-ordained by the way David Stern's little boys protect Lebron.

I can't believe he was not suspended. He also tripped Heinrich and gave him a few stitches in last night's game.

Celtics game is about to start xD
I have a BIG feeling that this is going to be a blow out for the CELTICS. Just like every game 7 of last years.

Also, I heard rumors of KG playing today, or maybe getting ready for next round? (Hope I didn't jinx it)

That rumor ain't true. They debunked that on SportsCenter yesterday.

Another game decided by the NBA.

The officiating this year is the WORST I've seen it since I started watching pro-ball.:thumbdwn:

It was awful during the Houston-Portland series too. Of course I thought it was one-sided, but it was very uneven too. Players had no idea how much contact would be allowable moment to moment. Made for much frustration on both sides.

The NBA needs to get it's **** together on the officiating front.

Houston-Portland actually was relatively even, from what I saw. I do think Portland has a good team but, Houston has better experience and it prevailed.

The Cleveland series and the Chicago series was TERRIBLE. I can't believe some of the calls and the non-adjustments after the fact. I think Congress needs to start looking into David Stern's actions and get impartial referee's.

These teams and the NBA uses hundreds of millions of tax-payers dollars to build arena's, the least we should expect are rules that are adhered to.

Please tell me you're joking, Saz. Congress has no business screwing around with sports. I hate the fact that they are mulling over fubaring college games...they can only make things worst if they get involved.

Why should you hate it?

If FEDERAL monies are being used (which is the case in every single sports in this country, and the case with college sports as well) and the private institutions that run it are ****ing up royally, I have no qualms in Congress starting to become more active.

By them becoming active, hopefully the corrupt private entities will actually clean up their act.

Rondo drew blood on 2 players in 3 separate games and ON PURPOSE and didn't even get thrown out of the game or suspended afterwards. And Oklahoma made it into the championship game on the basis of votes that negated the standing of 2 other worthy teams in their own conference. Need I say more?

Th government controlling sports is not a good thing. The government does not have the answers to everything. I don't want them involved in every little detail of my life.

Simple answer to that :)

Don't use federal or taxpayer money to run your private leagues and what not.

Again, you are missing the point of what I am saying.

I WANT Congress to SAY they are proposing something so that the institutions will UNILATERALLY clean up their corrupt leagues.

Comprende?

Yea...We seen how well that worked for baseball. :rolleyes2

I want the NBA to clean up their act without government intervening.

Baseball is only in the state it is in now because the league and the players association wants no repercussions, but wants all the billions for itself and the players.

Baseball has basically been lying and hoping all their lies are hidden away for years. The sport is tainted and continues to be tainted.

Also, the NBA is not cleaning up it's act.

When word comes out that the NBA is considering changing its traveling laws to allow for moves such as the "crab dribble", all integrity is lost.

lol...I still don't want the NBA under the guise of the government. Honestly....every time there is a questionable call, do you want the referees up on Capitol Hill explaining their calls?

The Celtics are playing very tired right now. I can't see them winning this series.

Well when Rajon Rondo goes to the line 10 or 12 times in 1 quarter, being bailed out consistently by the referees, you know something is up.

On the other side, Rashard Lewis was getting hammered repeatedly and no calls.

I want our referees to be accountable. Right now, people are not even allowed to question them in the league. How dumb is that?

Bro, I am totally with you on this...I just don't want the government involved. I think that they should have a performance pay scale, and if they are not performing correctly, then they are removed from games all together.

Refs should be held accountable....but to the fans, not to the government.

The refs are judged by the league which has a vested interest in itself.

I am going to bring up the Celtics series. The fact that the NBA didn't overrule the refs a single time to upgrade the fouls to suspensions speaks volumes.

Howard throws an elbow, 1 game suspension, Rondo, he doesn't even get kicked out of the game.

And that is just this season.
