Baseball is only in the state it is in now because the league and the players association wants no repercussions, but wants all the billions for itself and the players.
Baseball has basically been lying and hoping all their lies are hidden away for years. The sport is tainted and continues to be tainted.
Also, the NBA is not cleaning up it's act.
When word comes out that the NBA is considering changing its traveling laws to allow for moves such as the "crab dribble", all integrity is lost.
No need to be offensive.

That was great, the Rockets are no fun at all to play.
2006, 2007, and 2008 were some of the most unpredictable and exciting years I've ever seen in the NBA. Somehow though, this year just seems boring. The Cavs are going to slaughter the east. The Lakers are going to slaughter the West. So until the finals come, is there really any point in watching? So far for me, that answer has been no. I have not seen a single playoff game yet.
Good call on slaughtering the west. Game 1 against the Rockets went well for them. :retard:
Not to mention the Celtics/Bulls series was pretty much the greatest ever non-championship series.

I'm willing to bet the Lakers go 4-1 for the next 5 games. Hell. I might even be so tempted to say the Lakers will go 4-0 for the next 4 to wipe out the Rockets.
Everyone was having a bad night on the Lakers. It happens. Lakers are still going to beat the series easily. One little game doesn't change anything.

The Lakers don't have an answer for Yao, and they can not match up well with Brooks. The Lakers are still stuck in Utah mode.
If I was a betting person, I would take you up on that bet.

Kenyan Martin just got his foul upgraded to flagrant. I still don't understand why Rondo got a pass.

I think I did when I was about 6.
I can't wait for the Lakers to drop another one. I will be right here to collect on Tyger's bet.

The Lakers might still win the series, but there's no way they win 4 in a row.

Houston is far better than they get credit for. They are excellent defenders, excellent rebounders, they are scrappy, and they get to the free throw line. They're like the Spurs were a few years back.
They certainly aren't as talented as LA, but they can play with any team on a given night.
I enjoyed rooting for them last night. :)
