nah Lebron still has to polish his post game. also, the pistons and the hawks are so so teams. he still needs to face a tough team like celtics or magic.
and oh, Jordan at his prime is stil better than lebron. :D
It took Jordan 3 years to get to the playoffs with the bulls. Lebron did it in his first and second year with the Cavs.

damnit. my mavs are toast.
That is what happens when you pick the Mavs to do anything... they are terrible. I am from the DFW area and I have always hated the mavs, they have always sucked.
I can't see the Lakers winning it all if they don't even bother to show up to some games, thinking they will win on reputation.
Cleveland is the only team that has apparently shown up for every game.

Lebron didn't make the playoffs his first 2 years in the league. Wade won it his 3rd year in the league and has been to the playoffs all seasons except 1 and Carmelo has made it every year I believe.

I am not a fair-weather fan. I have ALWAYS hated the Mavs... just like the Cowboys. Even when the Cowboys were winning... didn't like them.

My brother is the same way basically. This year he started out hating the Mavs because of "what they have done to him" basically... but of course after a few games he was back on the wagon and thought they would take it this year lol... everybody always thinks "this is the year" every year.
The cletics won on my birthday, I'm lucky
They will pwn every other team

the mavs lack 3 things to win.
1 - a real post presence. sorry, dampier is ok, but he is NOT going to protect the middle for you. and dirk cant switch to the 5 spot becasue he isnt designed that way.
2 - Devin harris back. he is GREAT in New Jersey and the mavs traded him away for Grandpa Kidd. come on - didnt they see the Rockets in the late 90's trade everyone for Charles Barkley and go nowhere?!
3 - the belief they can win. Honestly, if you believe in yourself you can accomplish anything. you can strike fear in teams with your pure determination. havent they seen any disney sport movies? lol - remember the mavs! (remember the titans)
when i played ball in college, when we knew we were severe underdogs, we would force ourselves to believe and you'd be amazed at how many upsets we had.

You're right. It was his third year that he went to the playoffs.

:captnkill: doc clearly you haven't followed MJ's career :thumbdwn:
He made the playoffs every single year as a Bull. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01.html
It took him just 2 years to score 63 against the all world defense/team Celtics
It took him just 4 years to win MVP/Def Player of the Year/All Star MVP in one season.
Took him 7 years to finally win it all, oh boy but he won it 6 times.
Now if Lebron can match or surpass this accolades:
5 time MVP
6 time NBA champ
6 time Finals MVP
10 time scoring champ
etc...
:p Just saying...

Jordan in his prime would get creamed by Lebron 1 on 1, and not in the gay way.

I agree. Lebron's skills are on par imo, and he's much bigger than Jordan ever was.

Jordan and LeBron play two different positions...so you really can't compare the two. On the other hand, Kobe would get creamed by Jordan....

That's a cop out lol. Of course you can compare the two. Lebron is just as fast and has great ball control as well.

If they were playing one on one, then yea, LeBron would make Jordan cry for his momma.

That pretty much proves nothing, except that Lebron is talented. You dont get rings for getting to playoffs.

Its a different era now. Jordan obviously did not grow up in this time. Comparing them with anything other than championship rings is silly. He played against the best players then, just like bron plays against the best players now.

If Lebron can dominate the League for a number of years he'll be an all-time great, if he's not already. Jordan, Bird and Magic have done that :D Now Lebron needs to win rings while being the consensus number one basketball player.
Prime Jordan was wiry strong. He'll give Lebron a challenge, providing James wont travel :p
