View Full Version : OCZ DDR3 2000Mhz
I've been waiting for this Ram to hit our shores and as soon as it did, I grabed some.

I am thinking of getting the cheaper version CL9 Blade which is nearly 3 times less but to use it in a QX9650 in dual channel, 1 stick as back up. With the voltage at 1.65v i could get low latency with higher voltage of say 1.85v but would need to buy a Striker II NSE also which would be £295 for the memory and board :(I wounder if i can hit 6/6/6/12/T1 @ 1600MHz eith FSB @ 1600MHz or maybe 1800 1:1 with 7/7/7/15/T1
For some insane reason the CL7 is cheaper here than the CL9 stuff. Go figure. I only paid $308NZ which is roughly $160US. Pretty good for bleeding edge DDR3 I thought.

Nice! Any noticeable improvements over your previous kit?
It certainly is snappier. It takes quite a bit of QPI voltage to get it stable at these clocks. I will see if it can go higher :D

Either the EVGA or Asus should be fine for running this memory. They are both good boards.
