Just saw this go up on the Global ASUS site.

Rampage II GENE
Mini Size, Max Power

* Intel® Core™i7 Processor Ready
* Intel® X58/ICH10R
* Triple-channel, DDR3 2000(O.C.) Support
* MemOK!
* CPU Level Up
* SupremeFX X-Fi onboard
* Pair X58 with SLI™ / CrossFireX™ in SFF system

It has an onboard SoundBlaster X-Fi, but only has 2X PCI-Express 2.0 16X slots. All you need to do is pop in a graphics card or 2 and you're all set.

Wow... Micro ATX X58.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a use for this. Any case that requires a Micro ATX board will definitely cause problems with a video card that will make an X58 useful.

Either because the case is too small, the power supply is too weak or the air flow is insufficient.

Not true. There are quite a few good MATX cases with ample room for a good psu, and decent airflow. Most good MATX cases allow larger cards too.

You actually learn things if you hang out on the Xtreme forums :p
Here? You learn crap. Except how to spam, and the "Nvidia RAWKS!" :D

I guess I always just associate micro-ATX with very compact systems like HTPCs. The cases you posted are really only a couple inches shorter than a standard ATX case. I'd put an X58 in one of those, but I don't think I'd stuff one into an HTPC.
