There is a single PCB revision of it coming out later this month, so I assume they are not manufacturing any more of the dual PCB versions.

So I guess the dual-PCB version of the 295 is sort of like this generation's GeForce FX5800, and the single is like the FX 5900.

I doubt it'll be that much of a difference.

Its more similar to the 7900GX2 to 7950GX2 switch.

Imagine the PSU requirements. :o

You'll need a 1200W PSU... minimum.

And the heat output... :o

Dunno - my "older" 295s are quieter than my 280s because I can run the fans at a lower speed.

Its a good job more nvidia re-sellers are using custom/3rd party cooling now but they'll have to get a bit more creative with the dual gpu's.

Yes please buy the single-pcb 295 and then cry when the gtx 300 comes out this fall.

good luck selling a 295 when the 300s come out. Hmmm, Dual-GPU issues or one very powerful single card (GTX 300), or one not as powerful single card (GTX 285). SLI, i think, is not going to be perfected any time soon.

I take it you've never been to eBay before?

You'll probably be able to get $400-$500 for a used 295 on eBay at this time next year.

People are retarded. :p
