What do you have going on today?

I need to find me a new computer case.

I got a new server setup, but the cooler is too big to fit in my current case.

The case looks like this: http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=13&pPath=250&productID=250

Only it's a dark blue color.

I think the case should actually be wide enough to fit a TRUE

But the main problem I've have with more than one board and this case is that the spacing between the psu and the board isn't enough.

The board almost touches the side of the psu.

So when the cpu socket is pushed towards the edge of the board

A lot of the bigger coolers overhang the board, which mean that the PSU gets in the way.

One time I had put the board, cpu and HSF all together outside of the case.

Then I tried to lower it into the case, and it took me a minute to figure out why it wasn't working quite right.

I could get it into the case because there is a little extra room at the bottom, but it wouldn't line up right. That's when I figured that out.

I would have put my Zalman 9700 onto the old setup, but instead I needed to swap it for the Zalman 9500 because it wouldn't fit.

That one doesn't overhang the board so it barely fits in there, but it has worked quite well.

I had thought about getting an actual 3U server case this time around, but I don't know if 3U is tall enough to hold the TRUE.

Nope I guess not. I just found a 4U case at Newegg.

It says that it's only 7" tall.
