Saw the hockey game

Did a little nostalgic gaming Sunday night.

We played Warcraft 2 BNE.

With 3 people allied up it can be a lot of fun.

The game is kind of weird though

[Bman212121]

Sometimes the computer will rush and try to wipe you right away

[Bman212121]

And other times they will just kind of sit back and not be too deadly.

[Bman212121]

They are usually only good for one rush, then they just go silly and wait for you to mop them up.

[Bman212121]

So as long as you can hold out through their first spam or two, then you can easily win.

I had one round where my friend got wiped.

[Bman212121]

2 or 3 computers all attacked him at the same time, so we couldn't save his city

[Bman212121]

He was able to get a peon into my base though and I defended against the rest of the enemies.

After that he went to the other side of the map and rebuilt a new city.

[Bman212121]

By that time I had 2 or 3 armies of guys, so I just started attacking one computer at a time.

My friend helped me kill the other 2 comps and we won that round.

[Bman212121]

It worked out pretty well considering it was 3 on 1 for a little while.

The biggest thing to not do if you want to have a chance is turn on high resources.

[Bman212121]

The computer is a cheating ***** in that he can do 10 things at once.

[Bman212121]

One of the biggest problems is trying to micro manage all of your units.

[Bman212121]

In other games like AOE you have the ability to queue up units

[Bman212121]

But this game was made before that ability. So you need to make like 6 barracks if you want to train enough units.

[Bman212121]

And every time one is done you have to be ready to get another one training.

[Bman212121]

What really kills me is peons / peasants.

[Bman212121]

You can't set rally points, and you can't queue them

[Bman212121]

since they train a lot faster than other things, I generally don't get enough of them.
