I don't know how to make a poll. But how many people will first in line to buy it if it comes out and is priced at $999.95 and it is just about as fast as two GTX 285 in SLI.And if ATI part is no match, which I hope that want be the case even if they have to make a duall card like the 4870x2.
So its just as fast as two gtx285's and twice as expensive? I dont think anyone will buy it...

Wait until the GeForceBaconator with two terra-toasters of heat output come along in 2017.

I have no ideal how fast it will be ,I was just saying if it is just as fast as two GTX 285 running in SLI ,but a single board and if the price is 999.95.I wonder how many people will be first in line to buy it.The rummor is it will have around 500 shaders compared to the 240 in a GTX285,and it will have GDDR5 with 240mb to over 400mb of bandwidth(according to which GDDR5 they use) compared to the 160mb of a GTX 285.

I wont be first in line, but im already planning my new computer build, which will include a GTX300, one of the top end models, I cant stand budget anymore, my 8800GTX is still able to play any game out there at playable FPS, if I had of waited and got say, a 9600GT, it just wouldnt have the same lasting power.
And BTW, I dont feel the need to upgrade at all, but after 2 years(well, it will be 2 and a half by the time I get it), I think its time, plus I have plans for this computer once I move on
