You can also turn on the SLI bar and play a game. If you see the green SLI bar on the left, then there shouldn't be any problems. Unless that's not what your question was about.

He is not 21, he can't go to the SLI bar yet.

21 as in age? if so then yes I'm 21. but Im not sure what this SLI bar is I'm looking for. I can enable quad SLI in my NVIDIA control panel.

also, I got GPU-Z, Apparently 4 GPUs are active, but 2 of them are at 50C or less while the other 2 are around 58C to 80C or more. I have lots of fans and water cooling on both video cards, could this be defective hardware?

In the NVIDIA control panel under 3D settings enable the SLI bar, then start a game and see if it is working.

If you are able to enable Quad SLI, chances are it is working.
