Its not Ultra, but its first 5900 I have seen for sale. Its nice looking card, and price is $419 dollars. Out of my price range but one of you guys may like it :D .

Here is link:

Guess this means most of the 5900's should be available soon. I'm looking forward to price drops by Xmas

Kev,
You seem to be more of an nVidia man than I am...:p ;) (keep it up)

I would consider getting an ATI card, or Delta Chrome, or another if they worked great and price was right.

I won't upgrade my GF3 till around Xmas, and I have no idea what video card it will be. I have only always had Nvidia (Creative Labs TNT, Visiontek GF2 GTS, Gainward GF3 Ti200), so I guess I am leaning that way but Xmas is long way off yet so we will see :)

I've seen the prices for the ASUS & MSI FX5900 which cost under 300 which an't bad at all considering i was expecting to pay that much for a FX5800 regular :D

That is 128 meg version. The 256 meg version is the Ultra and it would be about $100 dollars more I think.

How is PROLINE as a Company?
I've heard of BFG, PNY etc...but never PROLINE.

But not sure how good they are. Awesome looking card, should be ok if they followed Nvidia reference design.

The interesting thing is that since NewEgg has the Proline GFFX 5900 in stock now, they will probably get other brands (Like Gainward, Asus, etc) in stock next week. If you wait few days you should be able to get any one you want :) .

One thing is for sure, the upgrade from a GF2 MX in your system is gonna be just incredible. You may need medical assistance the first time you play a game :D

Whichever one you buy, post back how you like it and enjoy
