Ok, I've always been anti-Vista because of its poor performance in gaming in comparison with XP. Now I think I should make the move to Vista because it seems like XP is loosing support. Nvidia released new drivers with Ambient Occlusion option for Vista and left XP out in the cold, which I find stupid and that was the last straw for me.
Now, where can I buy Vista Home Premium for a cheap price, instead of pouring hundred of dollars for an OS? Or should I just wait for Windows 7 final?

Is there a noticable performance gap with a Q9650@3.8Ghz and a gtx280?
Install the 7 beta.

I jumped the gun and bought Vista off Trivium Nate. Windows 7 is still ways off from releasing and it will take awhile until support for it goes full swing.

...wow
You know 7 is basically new greatly improved Vista right?
It uses the same drivers as Vista.
Another one for Windows 7 ;)
