G'day,
I'm just curious if it's possible, or perhaps development could be underway to support "TwinView" with 3 monitors with 2 cards?
Currently I'm running OpenSolaris 2009.06 and I've got 3 monitors, however I have to run it in Twinview with one of the monitors disabled.
In all honestly this is fine, and I can run the 3rd if I enable it as a seperate screen, however if I have compiz enabled then I'm unable to drag windows onto this screen. Again, I can just disable Compiz if I really wanted to get the 3rd screen.
But I'm just curious if there's a way to have my nice 3D desktop and 3 monitors. Plus I find that if I use Xinerama rather than Twinview, the login screen and windows tend to be centered between two of my monitors.
Cheers
