Okay, so Intel is supposed to release the Larrabee soon. Its performance is claimed to be around the level of the GTX 285. However, does this mean that is the potential performance level, or the actual performance level. I came to this conclusion because I have no faith in Intel to write a solid graphics driver. Anyone having similar thoughts?

Is there a point to this thread ?
I believe the point is that Intel has never, not once in its history, made a half-decent graphics driver. I don't know if many of you remember when Intel actually made dedicated cards before. While their cards, and even onboard solutions, often times have the power to run some games, they never have the drivers in a state to make the games playable.
While he is the AMD fan boy, he does have a legitimate point with this. The new card is supposedly as powerful as a GTX 285, but what good is that power if it can't play 3/4 of the games on the market because of crashes, artifacts, and sluggish or inconsistent FPS?

Should be in Rumor mill tho....not since it is speculation.
But the driver's for Intel's integrated solutions have been notoriously dodgy...
