Give it just a few more minutes ;)

This build was apparently handed out to TAP members this morning and is the last build they will receive. Rumor has it that the RC keys no longer work with this build.

You don't lol, unless you have a new key. And you don't get an RTM unless you have a subscription to MSDN or something. Once it goes RTM that's it, and you need to buy it for a legit key.

Leaked. It has the same 30 day feature as vista -- and it can be rearmed a number of times. So you should be able to get 120 days out of it without using a key.

I read from a should-be reliable source that the RC keys will not work for 7229. Also has anyone noticed that the .iso file name now has the word OEM stamped on it? :)

EDIT: downloading the x64 version now. Looking forward to this :D

Should be last build before RTM.

this was compiled on June 4th 2009, so by now they should be few builds into RTM phase ;)

some people do claim that RC keys will work

You probably can use the RC keys on RTM builds, and they'll just expire when the RC does.

I'm still using build 7100 on both computers. I'm holding out for RTM build or my school get a copy via MSDNAA.

I am. The official released builds tend to be a little more robust than the leaks. It's like sticking with the beta versions over nightlies of SCUMMVM for example.

Me too.

Waiting for RTM now :D

Even if its coming, i doubt the RTM will be leaked so soon though. Its digitally signed and whoever leaks it can be easily traced.

For now i'll be using this build. :)

Still using 7100 until RTM.

No issues.

wow, they finally fix something.

everytime after upgrade my music, my pictures, and my videos folder would get screwed. content would get lost in windows upgrade temporary folders, and folders left in my documents and user profile where left as empty shells with user permissions all screwed up.

7229 was smooth.

Maybe not, but its time to upgrade to 7229. 7100 is so 3 months ago :D

It'd be nice to have some changelogs... I get the feeling that the only difference between these builds are likely to be things that don't affect me at all.

The RC was feature complete so what differences are there?
