So who is all going for this card?
I already got dibs on 2 of them and a step up for one of them.
Looks to be a hot seller for highend gamers so lets see what happens.

Yay for micro stutter. I'll never do a pos dual card again. Oh yea, and it's a GTX 295, not 395.

My bad.
These cards are redesigned and have some good numbers for them.
You shouldn't have microstutter so it must be your stuff doig it.

There's no difference in performance between these and the dual PCB models. Same parts on both, same clocks.

and very mis-informative memory specs.
An incredible 1792MB of onboard DDR3 Memory - View high-resolution images and textures with this massive amount of onboard memory. Up to 2560x1600 supported!

Keep what you have, Big. I don't know why anyone would want to trade 2GB of VRAM for 896. Lots of games push the limit on that (Clear Sky uses 800+MB), some exceed it (GTA4 uses 1.4GB,) and lots of games these days are open to hi-res texture mods that will surpass it.

+1. That's borderline false advertisement. Effectively the card(s) have no more VRAM than a GTX260.

The 285's have given me almost endless opprotunities with Crysis and other intense games.

whats a 395
if ur talking about the singe board 295's well there is no difference than the dual pcb older ones
takes up the same space, has same performance uses the same power and to that i think why bother

Pffft. No offense, but EVGA's got nothing on this:
ASUS GTX 295 MARS Review.... (http://www.ocaholic.ch/xoops/html/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=307&sel_lang=english)
Digital 12-phase power, beastly cooler (you'll need it, lol), and, oh yeah, some Vantage records (http://service.futuremark.com/resultComparison.action?compareResultId=1113613&compareResultType=19)... :D

Good luck getting the Mars. They only made 1,000 of them. I've seen a pre-order at one place and it was 1467$.

what a waste of money. but i hope asus finds a market for them; wed all benefit from the proliferation of more custom designs.
