Well my trusty A64 3700+ system kicked the bucket after four years, so I went ahead and got myself a quick replacement in the form of a Phenom II X3 720. I basically just swapped over the main harddrive to the new motherboard using this guide (http://arstechnica.com/hardware/news/2007/09/how-to-install-a-new-motherboard-without-reinstalling-windows.ars) which I've used in the past. I realize it's not the best way to go about doing things, but it works.

System loads up/runs fine and all (wow what an improvement!), but I noticed in my program list that there is an entry I overlooked called 'Windows Driver Package - Advanced Micro Devices (AmdK8) Processor (05/27/2006 1.3.2.0).' Should I uninstall this, or do I need to hang onto this? I have installed AMD processor drivers for the Phenom already off the mobo disc, so I'm concerned about conflicts between the two drivers.
