I was looking through the posts here and I see we have a few car enthusiasts. So what car would you buy if you had enough money to buy it?

I think I would go for something like this:

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 :D

Engine: W engine, two V8 banks arranged at 90 degrees...
16 cylinders, 736 kW / 1001 hp at 6000 rpm

oh.... and 0-60 mph in 3.0 sec

The only Monster Garage car that failed died at the hands of Jesse James and that suburban. It was insane how much steel he put into that RX-7. The car seriously looked like swiss cheese, it was insane!! You could see tracers ricochet up off the car and out into the desert. Wish I still had that vid on my PC!!!!

oh I love those Skylines.... :D
I walked into a Nissan dealership here in the US once and asked if there's a way to import one here, they had no clue of what I was talkin bout. :p
But I have a friend in CA who imports them from Japan though. Real nice :drooling:

yup... all wheel drive goodness... those cars are so amazing :)

pity 2 fast 2 furious lads who do research on cars couldn't figure out that it is well near impossible to beat an all wheel drive ungoverned skyline with optimizations with a little mitsubishi... regardless of tricks unless you add a seriously DIFFERENT engine into it with a new drive train and what not... and looking @ the movie this is not implied...

well I spose they had to please the sponsors wot :D

yeah... every movie now is so focused on sponsors....
Just as the Matrix had the Cadillac, just look at the promo that Mitsubishi got from 2fast 2furious....
It's pretty sad really....

Yeah baby....that's no ordinary Z06, thats a Z07!!!

MTI Motorsports takes the 350 and drills it out to 427 cubic inches!!! 500HP, 500ft/lbs of torque. But the owner of the car above didn't stop at that..he put in a 150 shot kit from TNT Motorports. Hit the little red button and you're looking at over 600HP hitting you in the face :D

Personally, I'll take the 2004 Ford GT.

Yes, for those of you that know what you're looking at, that would indeed be a supercharger. 5.4 liter supercharged V8 putting down somewhere in the neighborhood of 500HP and 490ft/lbs of torque. Ford hasn't decided on the final spec yet.

SVT bought a 360 Modena and drive the car into the ground. Then they took it apart and benchmarked every component. Then the applied that to the Ford GT. The ONLY drivers aid in the car is the ABS brakes. No traction control, no electronic shifts, no throttle-by-wire, nothing. Just a couple brain cells, two feet and two hands..the way god intended!!
