entire second half is not good for USA. their are doing almost no attacking now.

It's the US MO. They usually run out of gas in the 2nd half against the good teams, hence my comments about Donovan. They have had opportunities but they don't conserve energy well. 90 minutes of non-stop action, you need to know to pick your spots.

But, it's not over yet, the Brazil back four is VERY ragged. Even a half-chance has the opportunity to go in.

Agreed, I think only one or two good looks that quickly got cleared out.

All these attacks its just a matter of time before one goes in. US have been playing like chickens with their heads chopped off.

Good game. US team still need to figure out how to take more control of possession. They got dominated in that department and it showed. Good effort from them though.

Congrats to Brazil!

What he said...Still a great showing by the US! Like you said, we really needed possession (especially in the second half after going up 2-0)...We should have been able to close it out!

I should start a blog :(

I was watching the game, following West Indies v/s India in the 2nd ODI in Sabina Park AND talking to my dad on Skype :D

I feel so proud. harr

Good game, and someone shut Lalas and the other dude up. Geez, you guys were shown up by these lads and they got further than you ever did. Just shut the **** up and give the boys some respect. They didn't embarrass themselves.

Luciano gets the Golden Boot and Howard, deservedly, get the Keeper of the tourney award. Well done mate :D Good play. Without the saves, the US would be back home right now :D Kaka gets the Golden Ball (best player) and this may have been a toss-up between him and Howard but, he did play brilliantly.

2nd place is an excellent result and giving this a day or two, I think the players will definitely appreciate the experience more. Hold your heads high chaps, you taught the world (and fans) not to disrespect and under-estimate you.

I liked Donovan's comments after the game..."We really didn't do anything. It's about winning, and we didn't win." (Paraphrasing, but that's the gist)...Seems like he (and seemingly they) have a real determination to win...

They were really disappointed, as they should be.

Great game all around, well played both teams. The best team doesn't always win but Brazil did in this case.
