OS: XP-pro, sli 8800GT video card. I want to add another card to support 4 monitors. any suggestions? The existing PCI cards I have will not function. "Driver incompatibility" issues reported by the OS. Have tried nvidia, and ati cards with no success.

Thanks.

What card models please

NV+NV should work with no trouble but the driver would have to be compatible with both cards

What is it ,an fx5200?

If so are you using 175.16?

Good guess, one of the cards I tried was an FX5200. I run all my machines with 4 monitors for work reasons. I guess the newer cards motherboards dont allow just any video card to be shared by the same computer.

It appears that all is ok now. It just took a few more boots (windoze....) and everything started working as it should have. No drivers needed to be loaded since I was using another PNY video card.

Thanks all.

OK fine, But use the highest possible driver that's compatible with both cards mmmk.

Not the one that comes with XP...
