9700p+333FSB Prob!! Please Help

Hi,

Today I bought an XP 2600+ (333 FSB) & install it in my MSI KT4V (BIOS 1.8). The Problem is when I run 3DMark2001 SE, after Game 2 - Low Detail, it returns to Desktop. Again when I try codecreatures, it show me an error & hang there. New install of windows don't help either. But my 9500 PRO runs both nicely. My 9700 PRO (1.1 PCB) & 9500 PRO (3.0 PCB). If I switch to 133 FSB, 9700 perform nicely. Anyone know how can i solve this problem?? Please reply.

Can you actually find the point at which it becomes unstable?

Does it do this in other app's as well?

Maybe up the AGP voltage a notch and see what happens?

133---> all is well

166---> craps out

My guess is undervoltage, or bad RAM......

have you tried disabling Fast Writes in the bios? I read that most instablity issues with KT400 chipset and ATI cards are dues to Fast Writes being enabled. Try disabling fast writes? Although..u did get the 9500 Pro to work. Just a suggestion otherwise maybe you don't have a enough JUICE being supllied by the PSU? maybe u need to get a new higher rated one?
