Hi together,

I've got a problem with my NVIDIA 295 GTX on a Windows XP ( latest stable release of the Nvidia Driver ( 186.18 ) installed, after bug was recognized I also tried the latest beta driver ( 186.24 ) )

When I directly connect a monitor to the card, everything is fine, but when I use a Video-Splitter to split the signal ( using the same Monitor as before as first device ) the Screen blacks out after Windows-Login.

I've another Windows system with a 285 GTX. When I connect this system to the same video splitter as above, everything works fine....

Any ideas?

Best regards
Thomas

My guess is that it is an HDCP issue. Splitters often do not pass HDCP and can cause issues such as this.

Sorry, I forgot to mention: we're using a VGA-splitter. So HDCP shouldn't be the problem
