if you download the file in his link, driver inside that package is not actually WHQL, a mistake on their site.

Vista 64 Home Basic - 8800GTX. These drivers seem to crash the Ribbons screen saver.

Do you believe that I have never been able to run that screen saver on any of our PCs? It crashes every time when I just select it from the drop menu.

But i've had no problems with these other than with the adaptive perf. setting. Games run like crap and HD movies stutter like crazy. All is well when set to max performance. It should not be the default setting yet imho

These are WHQL now, 7/21 on Nvidia's site.

Installed and working OK so far. I have a 260 216 and there are power management options under 3D settings (found it).

The scaling option isn't available with CRT monitors, but that looks interesting. Clearly it's defaulting to the first option rather than the third option.

Update: I connected my old Dell 2001FP display and did get the scaling options. The third one was selected by default, and trying to change to any of the others didn't stick after changing and "applying". I'd think the third option would be the right one for CRT's anyway.

I've put in a bug report with nvidia, but not holding my breath about them fixing it anytime soon.

I had to hack and regedit the previous WHQL to get the scaling to work on my 1080p Panasonic Viera 32LZ800 HDTV.

****ing Nvidia. They force it to screen-scaling and prevent it from working at all with HDTV. Mine's connected through HDMI to DVI adapter. I had to hack it to get it to work and now it's broken with these drivers.

Here's what I did previously: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=2037949&postcount=33

I may roll back. These drivers suck.

First BSOD for ages using this driver... Very disappointed. I went back to the 186.18s...
