I discovered that my random blackouts were caused by the Dwm (in the event viewer, Faulting application Dwm.exe...faulting module nvd3dumx.dll). Is there anything I can do for this short of disabling Dwm and losing Vista Aero?

Massive bug with ArmA 2 + 190.38 driver if using 8gb or 12gb of ram........game has massive blocky textures. Back to previous whql and all is fine except no sli profile for ArmA 2 :thumbdwn:

Fallout 3 and Windows 7 may have stuttering issues with these drivers, especially with HDR Lighting turned on in sewers.
Roll back to 186.18

Are they ever going to fix the pixelation issues with Win 7 & Nvidia cards? I have a GTX 260 and whenever I run VLC fullscreen it looks like a pixelated mess. If I reboot into WinXP its fine.

Change your codec to Haali... Had the same issue. Occured in W7 only...

I think i'm gonna roll back too, I'm experiencing alot of flickering shadows in GTA4, SF4, and Crysis/Warhead.

Well, I installed these because I read on the EVGA site they contained an SLI profile for the Darkest of Days demo, but when I installed these and tested some games, TimeShift had graphics corruption like crazy and my temps were normal.

Moved back to the 186.18s and everything is fine once again.

I did take a look at the SLI profile for Darkest of Days, though, and it's just AFR... wish there was a database you could look these up so if you were happy with your drivers you could just make up a profile yourself.

Windows Update offers these as an optional update now. If you don't like them and/or they cause problems or issues for you then do NOT install that update.

I gave up on anything post 186.xx. I seemed to have the most issues with those drivers for my 9600GT SLi setup. I went and installed the 182.46 and believe it or not, they have outperformed any driver I've installed on my system in the recent months. No glitches or weirded out shadows or anything. Until NVIDIA fix the whole thing with the nwiz.exe thing, I'll most likely hold out until then.
