keep getting this error

Error 1305 Error reading from file.

Original DVD. It does have some small scratches on it :(

Do you have a new optical drive?

My new sata DVD (Liteon) wouldn't read the disc without a firmware update. It would just spin and click.

Funny you mentioned that, first time i put the disk in, there was almost like a thumping sound for maybe 5 seconds, then it stopped and i was able to begin the install. I transferred the optical drive from the older computer and i was able to install crysis on that without any problems.

Well I meant it worked on my older computer but is not working on my newer one :o
Anyways I gave the disc surface a good rub with a damp cloth and installation went through without a hitch :D
