Y'all don't want to deal with no bull going through puberty.
I had two (possibly twin) 11 month-old hereford-limousin bulls almost crush me when I was working at a livestock auction in 2000.
I was kicked by a bull of similar age that same summer.
... and both of my 1995 show bulls bruised me up real good.
(but I've had my arse kicked MUCH more by yearling Limousin heifers... and OLD cows, aged 12-16). I was lucky that the two that had a yearling weight of 1180 & 1250 lbs respectively were the gentle ones who loved me and my family. The three 580-750 pounders had a lot of legacy French spirit in them... caused a lot of pain. I had one get loose @ the New York State Fair in '95. I was lucky that any of the trucks she ran into were already plenty dinged up. ... and my save with the leadrope and a perfectly timed jump onto two truck bumpers to attain perfect leverage, stopping her in her tracks from a flat out run in a cloud of dust... was one for the ages.
Sorry General, you got me thinking about my "country/Ag/cattle/wayland jennings" past, a time when I wore sharp rustlers, Tony Llamas and a big belt bucke... usually with a nice western shirt, but sometimes with a Pearl Jam or Rage Against the Machine t-shirt. lol people really did not know how to take me back then.
Oh wait, they still don't. :p

rage, you sound a lot like me, lol. Some sort of strange country boy, wearing those shirts and all. I bet you even had a Metallica shirt or two, aye? Well, at least I know I ain't the only one on here with a past like that. So, you give up the cowboy life or what? I've got to get back to my roots, cause we got a trouble-maker I've taken to calling Frank who just loves sneaking into my yard to eat our grass. That sucker doesn't bother looking for a hole in the fence, he keeps busting right through the blame thing. I'd shoot the crazy bastard, but I've already gave him a name. Besides, his crazy ass is making me exercise.

I still slip on my Justins or my Elephant skins and shovel Quarter Horse sh1t every now and again.
When I move back to the country I'll probably get some cattle and some chickens, and some rough old horse.
The only country music that'll be audible in ym neck of the woods will be 1970's and early '80's Johnny, Kris, Hank, Willy and Waylan though. Can't stand anything post 1987.

Aw come on, there's been some good country music since '87...take Travis Tritt for example. Hell, even George is still making good music. I don't go for much of the new country, but there's still some good stuff being made. The same goes for all the new rock and metal, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of good stuff out there these days.
BTW, I've never had me a pair of Justin boots. I went from going barefoot everywhere to sneakers, then work boots in high school. Never needed anything besides a good pair of work boots, except for when I used to go to church...then I broke out the Timberlands.
That Seminole Wind song and "Like the Rain" by Clint Black are about it. Everything else has been too cheezy and contrived and forced. I did enjoy some of Mary Chapin Carpenter's deadpan as well.
There's some dark blues that I dig.. oh and some Hank III, like his collaborations with the Melvins, that stuff's all right... and some Steve Earl.

I tell y'all what, the ladies of Celtic Woman can belt out some beautiful and powerful ****. Together with that celtic fiddler, their looks, and everything else, these women are amazing. This may be the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

You can try. I can't be stopped! I can only be contained! Yah mule! :captnkill: ADHD has fully set in! :headbang:
BTW, I love hearing those Irish and Scottish girls sing. They're pretty easy on the eyes, too. If I EVER travel across the Atlantic, I'm going to Scotland and Ireland. Hell, I wish I could love there, but I could never say farewell to South Carolina.

Just saw yesterday that the 2nd best place to live in America for a simple, peaceful life is Greenville, SC. This morning I looked at the top 100 best places to live in the USA, and my Spartanburg is listed in there. Of course, I don't live in Spartanburg, I'm just on the easternmost corner of the county where it meets Union and Cherokee counties.

Ugh, I've really got to quit drinking. Downed a 12-pack, then worked over a quart of corn whiskey moonshine out by the pool. Slept the rest of the day. Woke up sicker than mythy. I feel better after a quick stop by that indoor outhouse. :barf:
No...more...drinking.
Okay, maybe just one...more...time.

Just wanted to say goodbye for the week y'all. I'm going to Charleston (SC of course) with my family. This will be the first time my father, mother, brother, and I have had a family vacation in 7 or 8 years. This time will be the first we ever get to all take my daughter to the beach, even though she's been before.
I'm going to revisit the graves of the CSS Hunley crew, the boys we laid to rest back when Raptorman and I were there...too bad I never got to meet him. I'm also going to the Hunley Museum, the Battery, and hopefully Fort Sumter. These are all very special places to me.
Y'all be good, don't argue to much in the P&R. Tell the Captains I send my wang, LaZeR my love, and QBert a beer. To ORly I leave a fatass dog, the Q a Q, and DiscipleFAP my lube. To MikeC, I leave a freshly squeezed bucket of "yogurt". :D
Y'all take care, I'll be back sometime on Sunday.

Charleston was great! I even met a pretty redhead girl from PA, who moved with her family to Greer SC. Her sister, also a redhead, is a senior in high school. The girl I was interested in was still a sophomore, lol. Hey, if she's 16, that's legal in my state! :D
I didn't do anything...not yet. I have the mother's email address, so I'm gonna see what I can do about convincing her to let her daughter spend a night with me getting drunk, drugged, and laid.
Of course, I would never do that...or would I? :bleh:

I'm not having good mornings anymore, forget the wood. I haven't been able to sleep more than 2 or 3 hours a night lately. I think my nerves are shot. :(

Whatever you're stressed about, you need to pray about it and let it go. It works for me. ;)
