yep, they've added a whole heap o polish to the game...

i love it to bits, but the problem is since patch 1.4 i havent been able to host or join any multiplayer games :(
(damned "data differs from server", anyone had this or figured it out yet?)

The corrupt data message is when you are using a older version of the game :)

yeah, i know that, but i've patched up to 1.4 and am using DC 0.38D aswell.... thats why i cant figure out why it aint working...

i guess a reinstall wouldnt hurt :(

(all im trying to do is host a lan game, and im absolutely sure theyre all the right versions - it even gives the same error if you literally copy accross and use the same installation... :confused: )

Edit: it appears that it works fine when not using any of the nocd patches... meh. None of the ones out there i can find atm actually work..

After a game on this I can quite clearly say this is the worst patch EVER. The guns are now completly unbalanced, the game lags all the god damn time on any server. What a lame "upgrade"

Mojo, CapntKILL ran into the same problem. Maybe you should PM him or read his thread on 1.4.

well i havent really played vanilla Battlefield with the latest patch yet... DC .38 rocks though :-)

Baron: did CaptNKILL actually come to a conclusion in that thread other than that none of the nocd's actually work?
