Which driver is appropriate for a Quadro FX 3600M card under 64-bit Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. This is on a Dell Precision M6300 laptop.

The actual Ubuntu installation is CAElinux 2009, which is an engineering design system, and which is hosted on 64-bit Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.

CAElinux 2008 was hosted on (32-bit) PClinuxOS; there I had no problem selecting the appropriate driver. This time, I am struggling; the driver selector by product pointed me to a driver which appeared not do do the job, and which appeared to be for AMD-based computers (my Dell has an Intel Centrino T9300 Core-2 Duo CPU).

OK, found it. Ubuntu did recognise the nVidia card and downloaded a driver package when asked. I found the place to ask in Ubuntu's System/Administration/Hardware drivers menu - at least for this laptop.
