So ive been running the dx9 lighting settings all maxed out and everythings fine. loads fast, etc.

i forgot about the dx10 settings so i loaded that bad boy up and cranked the settings, now it takes about 2-4 minutes between menu screens! i havent even attempted loading a save game.

any fix for this?

The problem ceases to exist when i just use the FULL lightning and not DX10...
WTF. I have a dx10 card, and win7 "rtm"

I might load this back up to see how it works with an i7....I always had lag with this game, I gave up on it after a while.

1 8800gtx isnt enough? It's possible:cool: I'll use one of mine and report back......Yeah,so I ran around fer a whiles@60fps with one card@1600x1200.Something aint jiving if you aint pulling similar frames.

So what, I did. It works, a bit slow at times but overall its playable and its worth it.
