We are about to usher in the first DX11 graphics cards, from AMD-ATI's RV870, let us look forward to it. Power supply for dual 6pin, length slightly longer than the HD2900XT.

The first DX11 graphic card --- AMD-ATI RV870 is about to come, let's waiting with anticipation. enjoy it! 2 6pin power connectors, and PCB is a little bit longer than 2900XT.

It could be early engineering sample but the picture looks more like a lousy Photoshop job.

Chiphell for the past 2 years had the first pictures of every "higher end" ATI card. I wouldnt be suprised if its real.

at most it's an engineering sample. I doubt the final board will be that big.

I think it will be.

I think it will be.

If that's the X2 version sure. Redwood however, should be the same size as 4870, similar heatsink. Remember you're increasing die size by ~ 50mm^2, density should be increased by ~60-80%, but voltage decreases quite a bit too. Unless leakage is a major problem, which is possible assuming past history of the last 2 die shrinks @ TSMC, current heatsink should be able to cope.

Whats the point of leaking a pic of a card if it looks exactly like the last 3 cards?

Because it indicates that its close to release.

Didn't we have card shots 3-4 months ahead of time last round?
