A few members have tossed around the idea of some sort of coupon code towards the purchase of an EVGA Graphics Card. Well our very own prodigy himself jAkUp was able to pull some strings and get members of the forum and website a $20 coupon code off of an EVGA GeForce GTX 275 Superclocked! Don't forget there is also a rebate associated with the card knocking an additional $20 off.

Simply purchase the card through EVGA's website:
EVGA GeForce GTX 275 Superclocked (http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=896-P3-1171-AR)

Use Coupon Code: nvnews

The code is for $20 off and expires August 7, 2009.

Thanks again jAKUp :D

Sure is a great thing to do for nVnews members. Too bad I ordered a pair of these a month ago and are collecting dust now since they are a disappointment.

Not to rain on the parade, but the MSRP price of $259 is grossly overpriced. Even with the $20 off, that only brings it to $239 . You can get an EVGA GTX 280 for cheaper than that http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130492

Or you can get a GTX 275 with a higher clock and better cooler than the EVGA Superclock, as well as get 2 free games for $184 . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127429

Just sayin....

I guess it depends on where you shop. It's not EVGA, but I think that BFG is as good:

Too bad that the coupon won't work with it.

I bought the standard version off Newegg last month and it came with the SC clock speeds AND a $20 rebate. EVGA trying to rip people off to get rid of some inventory or what?

Consider yourself lucky then! The deal this thread is about gives you a $20 mail in rebate AND the $20 Nvnews coupon.

I ordered a standard one from Newegg also and got the Superclocked version.
I appreciate Jakup doing this for the board even though it's too late for me to take advantage of it.

Well crap. Would this nvnews code have worked on an EVGA GTX 295 CO-OP FTW that I just ordered 3 hours ago before discovering this thread? :( lol. Too late now I guess.
