What does everyone else think?
How do I get other pages to display in a certain area of my index page without reverting to frames?
Thanks

hmmm......full page as part of ur page or what? or just some small parts that u make separatly from ur index?.....cause if that's idea use php and include() function.....
all u need is this..
<?php
include ("_your_file");
?>
that way u can make ur index and other pages much more esier to maintain....and create;)
It's done. :)
I just kept the bars on each page.
I just found out that Internet Explorer doesn't work properly on my page.
Mozila based browser FIrebird works perfectly.
Never thought Mozilla would ever be better than IE in terms of compatibility but now I see it's much better than IE.
Great going there M$. :mad:

Site looks really screwed up when you use Mozilla. You may want to download it (and Opera as well) to check for compatibility. I know Moz and Opera account for only a small percentage of web site hits, but if you want to make it in the web development world you should make sure your site looks consistent with all the major browsers. :)

I was using Firebird but after doing the IE6 hack to make it look right I screwed it up with all non IE browsers. I will be remaking the entire site AGAIN! :(
Damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.
FIXED!
At least it looks that way on Firebird and IE6. :)
I had to use Javascript to check which browser the person is using and load the appropriate stylesheet according to the browser.
I hate having to use hacks but it's the only way I can get IE6 to use the
position:fixed;
tag. :(
Don't you just hate how M$ don't follow the W3C standards? Reason? Monopoly. :(
Im using Mozilla Firebird and it looks fine, res @ 1280*1024. Colours look a little better, I think the problem is, that you need to use light colours for text, not bright colours ;)
