only about 3 months old. lookin for 5800 ultra or i MIGHT consider taking a 5600 ultra for it.
before you ask why ill just answer the question now.
i play anarchy online almost exclusively and ati doesnt support w buffer. the game just looks like ass because of it. all ati owners have been complaining a lot lately (including myself) of nasty banding, z buffer artifacts comin out the ying yang.
since i only play one game really i just wanna have a card that will make it look nice and run good ya know?
lemme know here or via email

well on the off chance it would work my buddy let me try out his 9500 to see if the artifacts were still there. unfortunately they are so i gotta say no to that offer.
heres a screenie of what im talking about

it may not look like much in that screenshot, but imagine things like waterfalls and such. that "feathering" is present even w/ fsaa turned on.
ill try to post some more pics later of some more extreme examples.
any other people interested in trading?

couldn't you disable w-buffer using one of the many tweak programs?

wierd that you didnt get that problem...
and the problem isnt that it looks like crap w/ w buffer. the problem is that the ati driver guys have flat said no w buffer support for any ati cards 9500 and up. as you know, w buffer is the best way to display large landscapes like in ao and in flight simulators. this is something nvidia does support and even tho im lookin to get a slower card than what i have, itll run the one game i play smoother. ya know?

Would you be interested in a ti4600?..I know someone who will take my 9500 for it. So i would end up with the 4600 for trade.
