Wine sample WTF

I got something that has to do with wine and i have no clue how to use it or what the **** to do with it. Its like a long skinny cone with a metalic base. Came in a package that is an ad for Australian wine.....

Wine stoppers FTW. We got one from Pampered Chef and it helps keep the wine fresh . . . that's if you drink half the bottle one night and the other half two or three nights down the road. My wife doesn't drink a lot of wine in one sitting like I do, but a wine stopper really helps the freshness.

Who the hell opens a bottle of wine and doesn't finish it?!?! I can tutor said failure in the ways of "chitfaced". If you ain't looking for a terrible hangover, you shouldn't be drinking. :D
