View Full Version : Help Installing Riddick Dark Athena Windows 7

Build 7201. After I install Dark Athena, off the DVD, install the patch, and double click on the launcher, it asks me if I want to install the Tages driver. I hit yes, then it gives me error 1207, says that it needs administrator priveledge. Running it under "administrator" doesn't change a thing. Any ideas? I'm toying of upgrading to the RTM build.

I think that was a tages issue. I believe I had to get the latest version of the driver from the tages website, install it then I was good to go. I believe RTM gave me the same error till I did that also. Its been awhile.

I am running it through Steam, works fine here, even on RTM.

I dont think Steam copy used Tages.

Yeah I could try getting the steam version, just sucks since I already bought a regular copy. Damn you DRM!

I had the same problem on one of my daughter's games (My Horse & Me) on Windows 7 RTM. I installed the latest Tages driver for 64-bit off of their website, now everything works fine
