What is going to be better to get: a P4 with 800mhz FSB or a P4 with 533mhz FSB? Im thinking of going with the 2.8 and overclocking to just over 3. Is this going to be harder with the 800 vs the 533? Which will I notice to run faster no matter what the numbers are?

800 is always better.

I concur :)
according to the benchies it's obvious - 800 is faster than 533 and the price is almost the same I think. go for 865PE chipset. I wish I had money

Why 865pe? I thought the 875p was a better chip and has better boards?

better chip is debateable. 865 boards are now getting PAT enabled through BIOS updates (which is the only real difference between those and Canterwoods), and it makes them just as fast as Canterwood boards. so yeah, 865PE is the way to go.

Man, the way Intel is going with their BUS speeds, they are going to need a CPU DIVIDER soon.
80,000Mhz BUS with a CPU Divider of 20 = 4Ghz CPU :D
Well, i850e + RDRAM-32bit 533 is a faster than i865 800FSB DDR, and that's very interesting.

RDRAM is still Memory Bandwidth King, but too bad it costs the personal fortune of George Lucas just to buy a 256 meg chip...
