Just wanted to congratulate EVGA for winning my informal MIR competition. I bought 4 items w/ MIR totaling $100us for my last build back in Mar 09. I received the check from EVGA within 3-4 weeks. Checks from Asus and Patriot after 6-8 weeks (and after checking on my status w/ their online middle men). Finally, after ~5months, I got my last check from WD (after checking status and contacting support at both NewEgg and WD customer support via the phone).
Bottom line, MIRs do work but, I suspect that in the case of Asus, Patriot, and WD, I would have gotten nothing if they didn't know I was actively monitoring things.
