Yeah I expected us to beat Everton but not like this. Ouch! Two brilliant set plays which the Everton defense did not mark out. Very poor defending on their part.
A good start to the season.
Yes I will be updating this thread weekly.

What about the Whitecaps? They will be coming to the MLS in 2011

Well yeah most the European clubs are better. The Whitecaps are USL but the MLS is every bit at good at the smaller leagues like Sweden.
I was born and raised in Washington State. I've been a life long Seattle Sounders fan. This includes when they were in the NASL. The Whitecaps were one our big rivals. I can't wait till they get into the MLS so we can continue that rivalry.
Good job by the gunners. Love it when the blue's lose :D
Very nice football buy the Gunners...my beloved Robins got away with one this weekend.
Its time for goal line tech. (lee63)(lee63)(lee63)(lee63)

Celtic 0 Arsenal 2 (http://www.arsenal.com/match/report/0809/post/first-team/champions-league-celtic-0-2-arsenal?tab=report)
Yes both goals were lucky but it was the effort the boys made that put Celtic in the position to give up those sloppy goals. Either way Arsenal controlled the match. I will say Celtic had a lot of fire in them but the first goal really did take a lot out of them. They worked so hard to have bad luck strike down their efforts.
Is Viera coming back?
I loved watching back in the glory days with Viera and Petit dominating in the mid-field.

I haven't heard anything on that other than what you've seen. They had some talks but nothing solid. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/arsenal/5959848/Patrick-Vieira-could-prove-crucial-to-Arsenals-campaign-says-Jose-Antonio-Reyes.html Sounds like they want to grow some of their own players. Unless they think they can make a run this year, I don't think they should go after him. It would be money wasted that could have been spent developing younger talent.
Right now I just want the team to be full and healthy again. Imagine Eduardo back in the line up. If we can continue to break down the midfield as we have been doing, Eduardo will just add more fuel to the cannons. :D
This is the first year I have gotten the Fox Soccer Channel. The past years it has been reading the news and watching hi lights on the intertubes. Watching it brings the passion so much more. The FSC is the only TV I watch. I just DVR the games and watch when I want and as much at a time as I want. Friking BRILLIANT I SAY!
BTW I have been hearing rumors that Thierry Henry might go to New York next year. Don't know how reliable that is but I wouldn't be too surprised.

Man that was a long time ago lol, Remember Petit's pony tail lol ... I read about a possible return for Viera to the gunners, I don't think he would be the dominating player he was.
Now that Chelsea & Man united have lost some of there key players my money in on Arsenal to win the league.
At MU today....on TV also(lee63)
Yea I am watching that game :D
How are you able to make ur sig do that? (change colors when I scroll over the picture)

It is a link. All links change color according to your web browser's setup when moused over.
Its tough to win at Old Traford.....especially when you make two crucial mistakes like that.
Good game though.

True, I'm just frustrated because we dominated and then self destructed for one moment.

Big game tomorrow :)
You know that. My brother has the new soccer channel on his dish, so he is going to DVR it so we can watch it before the Sounders play. My brother is a big Chelsea fan, so he gets to watch his game against Stokes in the morning.
Did you see Arshavin is out for three weeks? That pisses me off big time. The damn Russian coach played him the whole match and he re-injured his groin. Arshavin is my favorite player this season so far. He's really produced.

Yah, I feel bad for Arsh :(
Gonna be at a pub tomorrow, watching Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal/Man City in the morning and the ManU game later.
Gotta love the high-def tele's.
