MORE than a million internet users will be invited to vote in a virtual Democratic primary in the US next week, but this most modern of elections is facing age-old allegations of vote-rigging.

Officials in Dick Gephardt's campaign said they were surprised when their supporters who registered got an email encouraging them to vote for Dean. Mr Gephardt's team considered pulling out of the primary but decided to stay in with reservations.

"We are not going to change our participation at this point, but we are concerned that the process seems to be rigged," said Gephardt spokesman Erik Smith.

I need help with something by Decision 2004 - I've allready got something on my patio that'll scare Republicans vote seekers off my property - an old fashioned time-clock - which literally scares them more than being chased back to their Oldsmobiles by a small group of black children.

The problem I'm having is finding something that'll equally scare Democratic vote-seekers off my property, too. I can't stand being bothered by these ass licking schysters - either in person on my porch or on the damn phone - regardless which side of the Lady Liberty they enjoy shagging. So, I've got Republicans taken care of with the time-clock. I'm just lacking a proxy poltergeist that'd equally scare Democrats off my property...

I've got some ideas but nothing real concrete...

Any takers? ;)

A effigy of Clarence Thomas. :p .....cuz we know how open Democrats are to successful minorities.

That won't work. Thomas isn't my idea of a successful minority, especially in light of Colin Powell. Powell IS a successful brutha. Thomas, on the other hand, is like J.C. Watts - a black man who sold out to the Republican party just so they can get the benefit of carting him out once in a while to prove to people, "Look! We're not really as racist and womanizing as Trent Lott and Strom Thurmond - honest!!"

A picture of Thomas with the header "Successful Minority" would just make the Democratic hopefulls here laugh their asses off and pound on my door with much more zeal because it would give them the impression of being "on a mission" doctrinally - to sway to their side (I need that crap like I need more Jehovah's Witnesses) - however, a picture of Powell with that same header might give them just pause before knocking since they know they can't argue with it.

Anyway, I've been wracking my brain all night and I can only think of one thing that's serve just as good as the time clock - a big poster of Jesse Helms in drag in sort of like an Uncle Sam pose with the caption, "I wanna have mansex with YOU!" This would definately force the Democratic vote-seekers to disappear faster than an 8-ball on Keith Richards.

Then again, it might even scare the Republicans, too.
Might not need that timeclock after all!

Ahhh I am glad to see you, a white male can define success for a African American. It's funny you call him a sell out.

Actually, despite living in a city where white people tend to stick out like the albino from "Shine" standing shirtless in the middle of Compton, and despite having the ability to conduct word-association tests with black folks at any given moment using such criteria as Judge Thomas or J.C. Watts, the bottom line naked truth is I am no more qualified to define success for blacks than.................George W. Bush!!

Neither are you, for that matter!

But that doesn't stop us though, does it?

And if not, does that alone make us racist?

Arrogant, yes.

Racist?

We'd have to let blacks decide on that...

I never said anything about my opinion of race, only what I see the dem do to successful African American conservatives.
I also never said I was qualified to define success of African Americans. Just because you life in a mostly black neighborhood give you no more right to speak on the issue. My adopted nephew is black does that give me credibility to speak on such issues. No. I just means my nephew is black. Oh and his mother is Jewish. My niece is half Philipino and my son is half Cambodian. Does that give me credibility to talk about success in the S.E. Asian community?

My original point stands. A picture of Clarence would scare...no wait prolly incite a riot at your house. They might just string him up....but thats ok since he is a sellout. Funny how he is no longer a minority since he doesn't donate to the DNC. :rofl

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black (no pun intended)! :p

I think we both outta just clam our honky old traps about race before we start a riot here in this thread!

Funny how he is no longer a minority since he doesn't donate to the DNC. :rofl

Oh, that's cold! :rofl

You just irked every idiot in Hilary's village with that comment! ;)

lol I know but it is fun ribbing ya. ;) :POKE:

BTW I pointed out that he is successful and the DNC doesn't like that because he is a convervative, in other words, he did not take thier hand outs or should I say drink the Kool-Aid and conform to the DNC's perverted idea of success. That's it nothing more nothing less. Regardless I did get the response I wanted. ;)

Yes it was cold but it is true. It is hard to point out the village idiot in that village. :p

Dean Wins Virtual Primary With 44 Percent (http://abcnews.go.com/wire/Politics/ap20030627_1013.html)

In announcing the final totals Friday, MoveOn.org said Howard Dean topped the list of contenders with 44 percent of the vote. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio finished second with 24 percent and Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts got 16 percent. The rest of the nine-candidate field finished in single digits.

Democratic presidential hopeful, U.S. Sen., John Kerry, D-Mass., frowns but isn't surprised about his third place finish in the rigged e-poll. Kerry, acting like a poser on a motorcycle following a campaign stop in Laconia, N.H., is campaigning for the nation's earliest presidential primary that is about 6-months away.
