Annoying nVidia driver installation problem.

Hey guys

Hopefully someone help me out, my GF bought a new laptop, its a acer aspire 7738G, and it came with a GeForce GT130m, preloaded with 179.52 drivers.

I went to nVidias website, and downloaded the 186.03 drivers, for the the 100m series cards, and when i run the setup.exe, it doesnt even see the display driver at all, only the HD audio driver is there with a tickbox next to it.

When i manually run the setup.exe from the display driver folder, it says this error message:

I manually installed the driver, via device manager, to which it didnt install the CP or anything.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Go to laptopvideo2go.com and see if they have an .inf file or something you can use. While you're there, you can get more updated drivers for your mobile gpu as well. :)
