They can't go there. We own it. We even have a little flag there to prove it. ;)

BTW I think that is where Saddam hid the WMDs.:p

Whats that saying? "only in america could people believe the moon landings were fake, and that wrestling is real."

Yah, that's right. It was fake. If it was fake then why didn't the Soviets say it was and put up a big stink? This was a pathetic show that aired and was proven false. Face it we took the moon. It is ours.

How did they claim it as theirs? China/Russia/contry could come along, swipe the flag and drop theirs on the moon, tell the people of Earth that there never was a US flag there and the landings were false and then you will have so many conspiracy theorists breathing down your neck it will make NASA and the US gov. crap themselves.

well, if any country swiped our flag off the moon, I'm sure that'd cause some discontent here and possibly lead to a war or some military action of some sort. The United States is about to launch a new military space program, kind of an offensive space defense thingy. Will actually have a task force in space ready to make sure we retain our surperiority in the heavens:angel:

You serious? What weapons will they use?
They cna use those lasers that are about to become world wide but will htey be as effective in space as on Earth? I believe so, in fact they will be more effective as their will be nothing to impede the photons.

Most of the arguments against the lunar landings cite a "moving flag", which was atually done using wires because to a 1969 audience a non moving flag would look fake.

The rest seems to be based around shadows, which in iteself is a tricky subject.. either way though people have been to the moon because we didnt have the "we'll do it safley" attitude we have these days. Back then there was still a pioneer spirit, before all the health and saftey regulations.

Ahh well, progress is coming, its just slower these days

Besides, the argument against it being a hoax is way to weak.

Nowhere near as weak as the argument for.. full of half truths and paranoia. Its about as contructive as a tornado over the world domino-line building convention.

If it werent true people wouldnt mention shadows, and use "theres no wind on the moon" even though the flag was positioned with wires.

The conspiracy arguments are all flawed, every single one of them.

If it were true, you could prove it... But you can't can you? Like I said... look for the flag all you want. Can you find it?

Umm yeah, you think you could see something as small as a flag on the moon, which is 240,000 miles away, with your 40X telescope from Walmart?

Besides, the moon landings can be independantly proven, one of the ALSEP instruments left by the apollo missions has a laser reflector. You just need to point a laser as the correct lunar co-ordinates and the beam will bounce back. It takes more than a common laser pointer to do it, but observatories in Australia, France and Germany have performed the experiment. Unless those countries were also in on the great moon landing conspiracy. Or maybe the laser reflector was actually left there by aliens :D

If you had done real research instead of one-sided research, you would have found the flaws in all the "evidence" of the fake moon landing floating around the web. I challenge you, show me this evidence you have. Post the pics. I already know what you are going to post because all the conspiracy theories are based on shadows and reflections of the same old 5-6 pics and every "anomaly" is easily explainable.

why is everyone focused on the very small flag left behind on the moon? there are many more LARGE things left up there. like the 5-7 bottom portions of the lunar landers. the base of each lunar lander (can't remember how many...between 5-7) was left as the top portion was launched from it.

oh, and at least 1 or 2 of those lunar rovers. they're still up there too...
