View Full Version : Any chance nvidia scaling will be fixed in Win7 anytime soon?
My monitor scaling cannot maintain AR. I upgraded to Win7 now everything is stretched and ugly.
NV control panel flips me back to native scaling no matter how many times I change it back, cry, yell at it, and so forth.
Is there a way to force it or is it simply broken internally?
Thanks,
MLS
I've got the same problem. The scaling option only works when you're not using the native resolution at the Desktop. (nana2)

what driver are you using, works fine on 197.44
I just went from 197.13 to 197.45 and it still does the same. When I use the 1280x1024 native resolution, the scaling option always jumps back to Nvidia scaling after I confirm I want the new setting. This is the 64bit version btw. and it happened on earlier drivers too (in Windows 7).
The only thing I notice is that after upgrading drivers, the option resets itself to 'use my displays built in scaling'. If I put it back to 'use NVIDIA scaling with fixed aspect ratio'. All is fine. System: Geforce 275, Windows 7 64, Driver v197.45 and earlier.
Thank you but unfortunately it immediately jumps back to the first option. I have an 8600GT.
For me it reset itself to "use LCD scaling" after I upgraded the driver.
