I check this forum and other about pc gaming 3dguru hardoc and it amaze me how people got time for all this and resources, what you do for living? i mean super computers and every AA title day one. Well i know you can get them fast from internet torrent but i dont have time to even instal them not to mention play to the end, how you do it?

Like after 6 months i first time instal GTA 4, amazing game but i dont have time to play, and i asume its a long game to finish and explore

maybe im just slow or not that much addicted?:headexplode:

Something always suffers in the end.

It's called prioritizing and you shouldn't get your games from torrents. :nono:

TBH not having 4 hours a day in your life to do what you want is quite a shame....

Swap your job
kill your wife/GF
sell your children
Stop watching badly acted soaps

How dont you get enough time is my question.

You're right, gaming is a waste of time.
There are many more productive ways to spend it -- like learning how to spell difficult words such as "I" and "don't."

Torrents? Screw you.

As for the rest, I have a lot of free time... I go to school 4 days a week for about 5-6 hours, and the rest of my time is mine, for the most part, barring last minute assignments.

My girlfriend is not one of those nagging types who demands all my tme.

Goddammit, I hate it when people torrent games! Please, for the love of whatever you find sacred, BUY games! Please, I don't want to have to go to consoles...

But anyway, uh, about time:

During the summers, my time is pretty unstructured, so I usually play games in 6-hour bursts whenever I want. However while in school, my daily algorithm goes something like this:

1. Go to school/class
2. Do homework
3. Watch an episode of Star Trek
4. Hang out with people for a bit (<-- this is occasional)
5. Play an hour or two of games
6. Sleep

Im a supervisor in my line of work, I stand and watch 5 other guys to make sure they do what they are supposed to be doing, Any mess ups and its up to me to sort it out. From my pay packet the wife gets 90%+ lol(heck i don't even have my own bank card, she has it) .. What money she "allows" me to have i save and purchase games or pc parts. (nana2)

The kids are in bed every night at 8:00pm, I spend some time with the missus until she falls asleep then i come to play games or read some forums etc for a few hours before i go to bed.

On a Friday night one child stays at her mums & another at my mums & we have a few friends round for a good ol piss up .... Usually until 1-2am.

The next morning we both wake up with a awesome hangover lol.

Thats us two happy.

I work at the corporate office for Carl's Jr./Hardee's. I work a swing shift which is great for me because my wife works in the mornings and by the time I get home from work she is asleep. I play during the day and a few hours after I arrive home from work. I have my little PC gaming schedule worked out for me.

My wife would kill me if I upgrade my PC, so I have to order parts at mwave.com since the site allows you to pick up your hardware from their location. I pick up my parts and install them without a problem because like I said my wife works during the day.

I don't have the time for gaming that I used to. Between work, working on my house, time with wife, daughters and grandson....

I will say that when I BUY a new game (You know, the opposite of stealing it) I do attempt to get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of that title.

Since this is in gaming section, this is what I do in life:

-Help a UAC outpost on Mars deal with a teleportation problem.
-Going through my studies at University of Innsbruck and then MIT.
-As a hobby, taking part in a "tournament" of sorts...
-Taking part in "Operation Alien Overlord", a desperate attempt to protect Earth from alien invasion by launching a counter-attack on the home planet of the hostile cybernetic Strogg civilization.

As you can see, this leaves little time for any other activities.

24 hours minus:

8 hours sleep
1/2 hour for shower, hair, etc
1 hour morning meditation
9 hours work including lunch
1/2 hour total commute
1 hour for dinner
1 hour evening meditation

Equals: 3 hours of free time per day.

If I need more time in a day I skip the meditation or drop 1 or 2 hours of sleep.

And when Diablo III comes out it'll be - 2 hours of sleep - 1 hour med. - 1 hr dinner - 30min shower, + shaved head to mimic the Monk which gives you a grand total of 7.5 hours of gaming a day plus a sweet as chrome dome. I'm going to hook myself to an IV so I don't die, the only danger being that it may be too hot in hell for my overclocked PC(Anyone have reliable data on whether Egyptian burial rites were effective...can I bring my PC to the underworld?)

Designer of house frames, some days I'm not doing a whole lot and can surf the web. Other days I'm flat out. Only 38 hours of work a week. The real reason I get time to buy and play games though is that I don't watch much TV at all, don't have a significant other, don't have many sporting activities and don't have a life. So I get quite a bit of free time.
