I was on another forum and was thinking this could do some good for parts of the forum - especially the Windows sections. Maye combine all of windows into one and use this feature to help people identity XP, Vista, 7, etc.

No there is already too much merging going on with DD merging into failclaws NVM....
Not sure when NvNews will move to the latest version of vbulletin but a lot of these features can be pulled in and implemented/activated then.
For example, we are using the exact implementation you mention on OSNN, but we are also using VB version 3.8.4. There are a lot of neat little tricks, but NvNews is a larger site as well and I am not sure who does the major updates here wrt coding :D
Still, the site works fine now and Mike's always done a great job of maintaining the performance first and foremost

nV News is run from an old TBird with 512mb of RAM in MikeC's basement. It's dual purpose as he also plays The Sims 1 on it from 11pm-3am.

Hi. I just added a custom google search to the forum right under the navbar.
Damn, I'm off topic again. What were we discussing again :p

My dream is to move to Australia... I've always wanted to wake up to beautiful sunrises, with a nice hot breakfast and cup of coffee, go for a morning stroll, and punch a kangaroo. :wonder:

That's it-
I'm gonna' gag you, then hog-tie you, then stuff you in the kangaroo's pouch...
after I punch it, of course. :bleh:

I've seen a Kangaroo disembowel a man.
Then finish him off with a Colt 1851 Navy. ::(:
I want to ride a sport bike @ Philip Island.

:rofl
Not at all. Just that feature. I think it would work great with WinXP, Vista, and 7, for one example. :)
