This is the only forum which includes ATI, though mine is a mobility (for laptops, duh).
At any rate,
I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 and I'm using it in the windows 7 beta (64 bit). the problem i have is finding drivers which allow it to function. it was fine using drivers i had installed last April, but i wanted to run some games w/o any problems, so i downloaded the latest drivers, thus causing it to fail.
To cut a long story short from here, after accidentally disabling the basic graphics card, the drivers from my ATI had to be deleted to get my laptop functioning normally again. After searching for modern drivers, I once again had no luck. I tried searching on download guru and I attempted a host of different versions of the drivers, but none seem to work (including vista drivers for 64 bit). I get a message saying installation of my ATI is successful and, upon rebooting, I am confronted with an error message telling me i have no drivers installed for my ATI.
You guys have any suggestions? (my apologies if this in fact is the wrong place to have posted this; it is my first post here and i'm kind of desperate...)
