It's basically a slingbox that will allow you to remotely access and play your X360 or PS3 through a local network or the interwebs.
Pretty interesting concept if you ask me, specially being able to log into a friend's xbox from your PC and play/spectate remotely.
From what I read, there's something like a 100ms delay between output and render on screen, and a (negligible) 5ms delay from the controller. Far from perfect, but I'd say it's good enough. The article also mentions that any computer capable of streaming 720p can be used to remote-access your console... this includes capable netbooks.
Alas! We can finally game on our consoles from the road!
